TITAN connects research, industry, and innovation to lead the UK’s telecoms transformation. Our brief was to create a brand that reflects TITAN's unique position in the telecoms sector as a pioneer and beacon.
TITAN's pioneering research in telecommunications promises transformative implications for both UK and global societies and economies. Their mission is to design a seamless, open, and fully integrated Network of Networks (NoN), laying the groundwork for the evolution of 6G networks and beyond.
TITAN needed more than a logo — it needed a visual architecture that could hold the weight of their vision. As a UK telecoms research hub, it had to speak confidently to government, industry, and academia while remaining open, future-facing, and collaborative. The brief was ambitious: craft a visual identity that could shift perception, invite partnership, and pioneer innovation — whilst avoiding blending in to the crowd.
We began by defining TITAN’s strategic position — a nexus for research excellence and a beacon for next-generation connectivity. Working closely with the team, we distilled key tonal attributes to guide every design decision:Bold & Disruptive. Confident & Authoritative. Pioneering & Excellent. Transformative.These values shaped a visual identity built from the language of networks and signals — with graphic patterns inspired by cymatics and Lissajous forms symbolising interconnected networks. The design system balances dynamic contrast with clarity and control, pairing sharp editorial typography with a distinctive colour palette that signals ambition and originality.
The result is a bold, disruptive brand built to spark collaboration, command attention, and reflect a transformative mission. With a new look - the team at TITAN's ready to lead conversations, shape innovation, and represent the UK on the global telecoms stage — all while staying grounded in accessibility and inclusion.
